Fish and fresh vegetables are an essential element of the Porto natives city's life, so we prepare a visit to the market of Matosinhos, a lovely city, also known for the sardine fishing and the canning industry.

Classified as Property of Public Interest, the Municipal Market of Matosinhos, its an essencial reference for population of Porto district.

Open since the first half of the 20th century, it manages to combine the tradition of the old markets, where visitors fill their eyes with the variety of delicacies and fresh products exposed in small stalls, with a stunning architectural beauty.

Previous to the Cooking Class, open your appetite and learn all the clues to get the best and freshest ingredients for your Pratical Class of Portuguese Cuisine.

In order to have no excuses to miss out on Market Tour and these cooking classes, we assure the transportation, from our facilities.

Enjoy your ride in our Land Rover Defender by the coastline, where the noise and the smell of the sea precede the calmness of the river waters, awakening all the senses necessary to enhance the Culinary experience which will follow.

Arriving Ribeira, our cozy facilities are prepared to welcome you for a hand-on cooking class in Porto.

- Class is made up of 12 participants maximum and a minimum of 4 participants. We can accept different bookings until the lotation is reached.
- There is a possibility of cancellation the bookings if there are not enough participants to meet requirements.
- Portuguese Traditional Gastronomy is not vegetarian friendly. In this case we can provide a different dish.
